No sooner has the presumably last member of the Galaxy S20 series been introduced than the first rumors about the new Samsung flagships, which are likely to be on the agenda for 2021. We know that so far about the Samsung Galaxy S30 (S21).
Samsung probably does without an in-display camera
According to the latest rumors, Samsung does not want to go with the trend of selfie cameras hidden under the display with the S30 series, also known as the S21 series. Instead, like the current Samsung Galaxy S20 , a hole notch should be used again, which then houses the single or dual camera. Smartphone manufacturers such as ZTE with the Axon 20 or Xiaomi are currently trying to establish the new camera technology, which we have already seen in a smartphone concept from OnePlus . The Korean portal "The Elec" reports that Samsung wants to do without this interesting technology in the new flagships in 2021, which allows the display to appear free of any interruptions. According to this, the South Korean company is only to bring a hidden selfie camera onto the market with the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, making the foldable series even more exclusive. Experts expect the Galaxy Z Fold 3 to be presented in the second half of 2021.
Otherwise, Samsung should use a 108-megapixel camera again for the Galaxy S21. The notches from the Galaxy S20 Ultra could be used in the basic model of the S21. However, rumors are circulating that Samsung wants to add a 250 megapixel camera to the premium model of the S21 series.

In addition, a complete redesign is due on a regular basis, after two years very little has happened to the design of the Galaxy s smartphones. A completely rimless smartphone or even more curved edges could come our way.
